October Update

And another one. user posted image

Extended Sound Effects

We now have a large handful of new sound effects, including new sounds for monsters. We are undecided at the moment if we will include new sound effects for all types of creatures, although it is certainly a possibility. Right now there are long streams of sounds for spell casters, so it will be pretty cool to hear your spellcaster enemies muttering spells under their breath. Here is a sample owl sound and a new sound for hitting a teleporter. Who said we only have sound effects for monsters? ;)

Item Update

It has been a long time since we've shown any new item pictures, so it's time to give a sneak peak at a few new items as well. Like the September 2005 update, I will include a picture for a few of the item classes. Enjoy!

Maze

After creating a blank base for the maze textures, it is very easy to create new textures. This means that it could even be possible to have a different maze texture for each floor, although this isn't one of our main goals at the moment. Here is a screenshot of a new maze texture along with a couple alternative views. This particular texture may be subject to change since it may be a tad too dark. user posted image
