I just found my first Dragon's Blood, but not from the dragons I had been killing in search of the item. It came from a common, not dangerous monster on level 14.
I'd say what from but I'm too stupid to figure out how to use a spoiler tag.

p.s. Could anyone tell me how much age is subtracted by using Dragon's Blood?

It's the highest-level healing item in the game. Very nice. And very rare, unfortunately.

In one trip to the dungeon, I bagged myself a mithril helmet, an avenger (these two from the same chest!), a black cloak, a katana, steel battle axe, bells of kwalish, and a prism of sanctuary shocked.gif

Needless to say, I backed up my files straight away...

Kinda makes up for buying 9 good Tomes of Might for a character I had started, using them all and discovering I'd forgotten to realign them... wallbash.gif

Ok, I am extremely perplexed now. On my last trip to level 10, I found a Scarab of life, but I wasn't paying attention and I don't know who dropped it....
This is theorically impossible since it is a lvl 14 item, and I think nothing on level 10 can drop lvl 14 goodies. I am sure it was on level 10, because as of now I haven't dared to go deeper. For the same reason, I avoid studded rooms on lvl 10 (I might meet silent eagles and that would be game over...). Also it wasn't giant king, cause I checked after killing it and it dropped a GKH. So.. what the hell happened? Any ideas? Not that I'm complaining, mind you ....

Have you checked the library? It should tell you where you found your last Scarab of Life.

Yesterday I returned to level 15 for the first time in over a month and I came away with a vorpal blade, dagger of swiftness, and mace of disruption. All of these were my first.

I had completely forgotten about that feature ! smile.gif

Reports have it that 1 of these items have been found, the last one from a Asteryex on level 10 just Today.

O.O I checked and the Asteryex has drop level 14. So basically from Asteryex on lvl 10 you can find any item down to level 14. It has the same drop level of the Mother of Serpents smile.gif

... But it is extremely dangerous for my challenge because it can stone
