Braindead's Mordor Site - Return to Mordor: The Depths Of Dejenol _ General Discussion _ Gog.com - any thoughts

I know I know, obviously this is Decklin's call but getting Mordor II put up on Good Old Games would really bring some much needed attention.

Discuss.

I never heard of it before, I thought it was a pirate site, but it looks all legal AFAICT and all of them are awesome classics from the past! blink.gif Putting M1 and Demise on there would certainly give some exposure. I don't think M2 would be all that appropriate since it was never finished, except perhaps as a free game. Might be worth a shot to let Decklin know.

I've heard of GOG plenty of times, but it is really Decklins call. Furthermore, MII isn't finished, GOG is a "sell" site. Those factors are almost always mutually exclusive. That'll probably mean M1 or Demise will be put up, if anything, and plumb MII with it.

I kinda forgot about Mordor 1 and Demise there - they'd be much better choices than a few-levelled demo.

Since they've got a LOT of really good good games there now, I'm sure they're gonna start drying up for old classics.

Isn't Decklin on this somewhere?

GOG usually have titles that were once really popular, but it would be worth a shot

anywho there should be a christmas sale soon, so be sure to pick up the RPGs or whatnot you never got to play :-)

I recommend gothic 1 + 2

Our holiday sale is here! You’ve been waiting for the chance to pick up all of our great classics at incredible savings, and that time is now. Virtually the entire catalog is 50% off from now until 2 January 2011.

Oh thanks for the heads up! I was looking for Wizardry (6 to 8) but apparently Sir-Tech folded and the rights have moved to a japanese firm whose site gives only a place-holder now. dry.gif Still planning to buy something from gog.

Did anyone manage to pick up Empire Earth for free? That was quite a nice treat.

I've also blown a lot of money since that sale started, everythings half price - and because I'm British, half price again. Heh.

I've still got a copy of a LOT of the games on Gog but because they make them work properly on Vista it's worth a couple quid.

And, no, I didn't see the offer until it was too late! dry.gif

And Decklin can be reached on his site and/or forum: http://www.decklinsdomain.info/phpbb/
