Hum, I started a map and erased level 1... How do I get it back without losing all what I made with my char ?... help.gif

do you need the map level itself, or the explored area shown while playing the game?

if you need the map, you want MDATA11.mdr to be cleanly installed
to do this,
make a copy of the level you made that overwrote the real level 1 (eg export to lvl1.map)
rename your Mordor folder to Mordor_Old
install the game to the Mordor folder (where the old folder was)
copy from the Mordor\Data folder, the MDATA11.MDR file
paste this into the Mordor_Old\Data folder
delete the Mordor folder
rename Mordor_Old to Mordor - and you're back to normal.

in future, i suggest you copy all your data files into the Backup folder in the Mordor directory - then you have a copy of them...
there is a list of each file and its use, somewhere on the challenges board i think
