This time it's really simple. Just try to find the following items:

Tome of Lies (n)
Axe of the Blackguard
Glowing Rock
White Cloak (e)
Iron Shield (e)
Potion of Youth
White Sash (n)
Key of Opening
Steel Mace (g)
Nugena Gauntlets
Potion of Nesamu
Bone Dagger
Ball and Chain

You don't have to find every single item on the list in order to be able to submit your character file. You can use a party if you like, but if you do so, you must create it as a party from the start. No limitations on guild, race or alignment. Overall playing time shouldn't exceed 15 hours. Whoever manages to find most of these items (or all of them) wins.
Good luck! smile.gif

Just wondering...

Those three with the alignment beside them are the only ones that have to be aligned that way? Everything else can be any random alignment?

Sashes are certainly aligned. I'm sure of it, cuz realigning them costs 2 gp or so. The cloak also might be aligned, although I would have to check. unsure.gif

Oops. Good point. I completely forgot about those two. So, um, let's say a neutral sash and an evil cloak, OK? I'll edit the first post accordingly. [Although actually alignment shouldn't be too much of a problem since you can realign items] smile.gif

laugh.gif, sounds good to me. I'm not going to participate since I'll still learning about this game and haven't been past the 8th floor... but I just had to ask tongue.gif

But wouldn't that be the perfect way of learning about the game? sneaky.gif All the items can be found above level 8. Come on, have a go at it!

It would be a good way to learn, if I even had time to play Mordor as it is. I work too much, and me and my fiancÚ are planning a big move soon... so, I don't see that happening.

after looking at the list, you're probably right, only the white cape would be extremely difficult to find in the shareware version, as you could only find it on a stud square on level 3 (AFAIK).

Hmmm. I was fairly sure I had found white cloaks in the demo version... unsure.gif Well, anyway, the point is you don't have to have extremely advanced characters to get either of these items. Which is why you should have a bash at the challenge. biggrin.gif

Hi there! First post, but second time I take a shot at a challenge.

The steel mace looks like the toughest item to find in my opinion.

I'm still four items short, and steel mace is among them. The others are the axe, the white cloak and the ball and chain. I'm confident the ball and chain will find me eventually devil.gif , for the other three it could be more dicey.

Right, I'll extend the deadline by a couple of days, then. And good luck!
