Yeah, I know I'm early. But I really want to get this forum going, so bleh. bleh.gif

Anyway...

Nomad Straight Guild Challenge Rules
1) Your party must consist of nomads. Period. No other guild is allowed.

2) You may have any number of characters.

3) The winner of this challenge is whoever's party of all nomads has the highest combined level.

4) Gameplay time is limited to 20 hours. Any entries with signifcantly more playing time than 20 hours will be disqualified; however, if your time is within ten minutes of 20 hours, it is acceptable. Less time is, of course, just fine.

5) No editors, no legacy charcters, no using explored maps, reset your store and confinement before starting. This is standard challenge stuff. (If at all possible, install Mordor again to insure the purity of the game.)

To enter, email your character data files to me. No entries are accepted after noon (GMT-3 time), Saturday, November 20.

A few extra remarks:

1. the 20 hours limit is a maximum, not a minimum. The character file I will submit will probably come closer to 5 hours playing time then to 20 smile.gif

2. Since some people rather keep their email address private I have enabled uploads in this forum. When you click on "Add Reply" you will see an option named "File Attachments", click on the browse button to locate your character data file (in a typical installation this would be C:\MORDOR\DATA\Mdata4.mdr)

3. If you rather submit your character file to SpoogeMonkey by email that is still allowed too (a possible advantage of this method is that the competition doesn't know how far you got sneaky.gif)

Ok, just one stupid question:

How is best to check the 20 hours? Go by the character play time, I guess?

i'm pretty sure play time is actualy "time in the dungeon" - time you spend browseing the store/idleing in town ect isnt counted smile.gif

Oh, uh, hi. biggrin.gif Longtime lurker, but this guild challenge caught my fancy.

Did 4 giants, managed to get them all up to about level 90 within the 20 hour limit.

Well, the results are in. In first place is Nudibranch, with a combined level of 362 for 4 Nomads. Fart came in second with 73 combined levels using 4 Nomads.

So I now declare Nudibranch the winner of the Nomad SCC. Stay tuned as tomorrow I open the next Mordor Challenge!

Maybe you should make the contests two weeks long instead of one. 20 hours of play time is a bit much to fit into one week of free time. And 10 hours of play time is too short to accomplish anything distinct.

Incidentally, time spent in town is counted against your playtime, Wabbit. Don't linger in the shops too long. bleh.gif

I think Questmaster Spooge is dead or in a Buddhist Monastery, so this bump was just a little bit too late.

Like I said in the other thread though, impressive number. Too bad you picked Nomad, you stopped gaining A/D a loooong time ago.
