None of the downloads in the Mordor 1.1 downloads section work. Are they coming back any time soon?

Try going here instead:
http://mordor.uni.cc/forum/index.php?automodule=downloads

Basicly, on the top right of the page you will see "Forum Arcade Downloads Member Maps" etc... thats where the downloads are located.

Thanks! I got the melee calculator through your link, but the other thing I wanted, Bonestorm's time adder can't be downloaded. Can this be found somewhere else?

All that does is change your system time ahead one hour for respawns, you can do that manually yourself by right clicking on your clock on your task bar and clicking adjust time and date.

I've tried that but can't get it to work. I've tried adjusting the clock during play and also exiting and then adjusting but I can't get the monsters to respawn. Is there something else that needs to be done?

EDIT: Nevermind, I fiddled around with it and got it to work. Don't know what I was doing wrong earlier though. Thanks for all the help!

I believe, though Im not 100% certain on this, but I think spawns happen "on the hour", eg: Noon, 1 pm, 2 pm, etc..

And you are quite welcome. smile.gif

Incorrect. Spawn times are dependent on which dungeon level you're on and whether the monster was killed. Respawn times are about 15 minutes for dungeon Level 1 and 55 minutes for Level 15. Double those numbers if the monster wasn't killed when encountered (30 min to 1 hour 50 minutes).

The game stores when you last encountered (or killed) a monster in each room, but it only stores the time of day. This means if you return to a room exactly x days + 1 minute after last leaving it, you'll find whatever was there before (or empty if you killed the monster). This is also what causes the midnight respawn bug: if the current time is lower than the "last encounter" time, it assumes that a day or more has passed, and 0:00 is lower than 23:59.

Yeah, I figured I was wrong, I think it was the midnight bug that was throwing me off. Thanks for the clarification. smile.gif

Hmm good observation, or rather the downloads work for me, but the Downloads button/shortcut is gone. Might be worth it to ping Braindead about it.
