A mod suggested requesting it here. I spend most of my time at work on a machine I'm unable to install anything on. And since the full game is no longer available (there was a no_install version as well), I was hoping someone would upload a no install version of the shareware? I don't believe there would be any legal issues with it...

Here's to hoping!

Mordor 1.1 is not shareware. Unless you're talking about the demo version.

Sorry, versions numbers are off. I mean a no install version of the 3 level shareware.

That sounds like a perfectly legitimate request to me, and I can sympathise with being unable to install games at work. whistling.gif wink.gif

I have uploaded the file for Braindead's approval. Meanwhile I also uploaded it to www.rapidshare.com. The link is this one. If you are unfamiliar with this site: scroll down on the page and click on "Free"; wait out the queue if any; select mirror and type verification code.

The zip contains wavemix16.dll and wavemix.ini. The game should tell you where to place them; you should move them, not copy: if you copy them an error will be returned.
Let me know if the game doesn't work.

next time you upload something aardless, pm me instead of typing it in the post. I no longer have time to read all forum posts (unfortunately) but I do get to reading pm's and even reply to them as long as it aren't support requests tongue.gif

Ah, ok. Don't think I'll be uploading much, but I'll do that if it comes to it.

Oh crap! It's too easy to forget how addictive it is. Must..force..self..to..work!

Also: I'm unable to copy files to the C:\ drive. It's setup so that we can only store things in "My Documents" which is actually stored on a network drive and not the local one. This is by far the wonkiest user setup I've ever seen. But what do you expect? They're (reasonably) worried about security I suppose. (Check my sig and see if you can guess where I work laugh.gif)

Wow, you really work there? shocked.gif And you mean they don't want their emplyees to play? I can't imagine why. tongue.gif

It seems storing everything except programs to My Documents is the new trend. I find it appallingly annoying.

hehe Waaaay off topic now, but yes, I do work there. And believe it or not, they encourage us to play.. just not on our computers. My department just got a new game room in fact, they put in a Wii, a PS3 and a 360 each with a 42" plasma screen. They also put in some Indy Car simulators with forcefeedback chairs, and the works. (oh yeah a pool table, foozeball[sp?] table and a ping pong table). It's hard not to tell people about it without sounding like a jerk. haha

Yea, verily.
Mondays are here now.
Perhaps in the past Mondays were called by another name...like "Leg" or Ripseysnot" or "Borkfruitfullness" or "Cosmopolitan" or other such nomenclature.
But here in the uncharted present they are known simply as "Monday".
And they carry as fetid an odor today as they did in forgotten and unforeseen millenniums past.
Indeed.
