No need, I'd say. Comparing layout and number of spelling errors will do. Besides, people who want to keep seperate accounts for all of their personalities have every right to do so. ohmy.gifk:

@grobble -- you like the number 109 ? (j/k)

sort-of on this topic, my party as seen above it turns out is NOT ready for lvl 15 in case anyone was wondering...well the stud rooms anyway, the word idiot comes to mind.....or moron, get all the way to 15 with 4 chars one with 1 death, two with 3 and one with 8 (weak**s elves ranting.gif ) then proceed to kill you-know-who only to be decimated by d**n Flame Devils (in a different stud room)....it's disgusting really. OK enough ranting, just thought I would vent.... wallbash.gif

The IP addresses are indeed the same. Doesn't mean it's the same person though.

I've actually got two other characters that are long retired. One was a Good Gnome called Charmer, developed as a mage/paladin/everything else. The other was called Death Lord, I forget what race he was. Neutral alignment I believe.

Been avoiding this thread so far, but now that it's straying, I'll try to whack it back on topic.

Osiri:
Nomad 197
Thief 870
Seeker 428
Sorcerer 509
Total XP: 295 million

Dwarf:
Nomad 146
Healer 509
Warrior 678
Total XP: 192 million

Giant:
Nomad 197
Seeker 284
Warrior 766
Total XP: 145 million

Reported Play Time is about 800 hours for each. Getting to 15 took me about 200 hours, if I remember correctly.

True, but both have only made two posts - both in the same threads, around the same time, - use similar grammar (poorly), and coding (also poorly). Iamsuspicious.

IIRC correctly, the best I ever did was with one of the previous incarnations of Gutsy, getting to level 300+ in Warrior.

Well either way, it's not relevant to the thread, so let's stop discussing it now.

And to keep this one on-topic, here's the levels of my previous two characters:

Charmer (Male Gnome (Good))

Nomad - 54
Paladin - 35
Seeker - 39
Scavenger - 40
Mage - 40
Sorcerer - 40

Death Lord (Male Elf (Neutral))

Nomad - 30
Seeker - 20
Thief - 41
Sorcerer - 20
Wizard - 20
Healer - 20

@Nudibranch: Awesome!

I'll ask you the same question hoeofcow asked me about my thief (a mere 500+ as compared to your 870): How good is your thief at identifying/opening traps? Ever get blacked out anymore?

Party #2a (Good Division)

Gnome
Paladin (167)
Osiri
Wizard (95)

Party #2b (Evil Division)

Ogre
Nomad (248)
Scavenger (85)
Troll
Ninja (152)
Villain (71)

Mostly I developed these characters to get the various guild crests, and to experiment with OLR (they all gained their levels at much younger ages and with many more Hits than my original party)

Yeah, there's always a 2% chance of triggering a trap, no matter what, which is why I never open Slime traps, ever ever.

My Thief gets +++ **** for nearly every chest except for monsters of "monster guild level" 300+ on Level 15. I get ++ **** from a few Level 15 monsters and most Level 16 monsters, except for the toughest two, where it's + ****. The Thief's high Dex from all his Blessings are probably more important than his ultra-high Guild level.

Aren't you a little worried the The Hammer may have been hidden in one of those unopened slimes?

Well, when I had a party I had:

Good Human
Good Elf
Neutral Elf
Neutral Osiris

with approximately 54 in all guilds they could all join including the mistake of thief and scavenger on one character.

Once i always open slime traps, and guess what, usually there is not items or just an ordinary items. Never great items, but i have to pay sometimes by the destruction of neat items i equipped. You could say that slime traps only give you trouble and a little reward.

My money's on Nudibranch, pal.

BTW, concerning Slimes and items, I suppose a great player would know what monsters could possibly be carrying the item they are missing. Should that monster appear with a slime trap, they could just disrobe, then open the chest!

I've read that somewhere before...

I tried it, and found it really take a long time. I have to equipped all my weapons and items, give it to another character, open the slime trap take back those weapons and items and re-equipped them. Slime can destroy your item that you carry, not just equipped, iirc.
