At that level you may prefer to pin and get a few more hps.

hp increase doesn't increase by pinning, it just makes it easier to level up twice.

When you forfeit a quest you lose a few levels but you don't lose the bonus hp from con, so getting a quest could mean an extra 5-15 max hp. Works until you get max hp level (30 for nomad IIRC)

that only applies when you are following the OLR, which sounds unlikely, when the person couldnt find a rowdy. i'd doubt the constitution is above 13, just like when i started.

That will work as far as you re pinned in your highest guild, and can benefit from con HP.
Each guild has a specific level until you get additional health points when you gain a level (see help). At level 15, all guilds get additional health points from constitution when they level, and you don't lose them when you forfeit a quest, which allows you to get additional hps from pinning.
So let's say you started as a ninja (which is not optimal route), you have 15 constitution, you will get additional health points from pinning (no matter how much constitution you have before pinning).

It's easy to get pinned when you re quested for a rowdy since that monster can be fairly hard to find (and you pin fast at low levels anyway).

well its worth mentioning that you need to forfeit the quest, which was the critical data you missed from your original post.
but, forfeiting quests is far more efficient if you have a higher constitution.

i'll take a hazard that OLR alone is better than forfeiting several times on a non OLR character.

Well you may never get quested, while you can do OLR at your own leisure. But at those low levels, it will imho always be best to forfeit quests if you're under ML , it should give you more hp or more time to get potions before reaching ML.

only if you have a beefy constitution, otherwise you may only benefit from a couple of hp's at all.
this has turned into a debate about constitution and OLR, so its very off topic. and has been more off topic than on.

So? His question was answered, and he may still find this information helpful since he appears to be new.

Especially since the wiki isn't up at this time.

But yes, the rowdy tends to be rare on lvl1, becoming quite common on level 2 of the dungeon.

Don't they also show up as the companions of warriors on level 2? Or are warriors always accompanied by pinyls? I can't remember.

I can't remember for certain either. sad.gif I *think* there's a chance of Rowdys instead of Warriors and Pynils, but I'm not sure I'd want to take on Warriors with a level 15 character (can't remember what A/D was safe to beat them, but I do remember groaning each time I saw a Warrior in the beginning).

It s pinyls.

In the game I m currently playing, my last rowdy was at 1,10,3. I have found 64 of them and 4195 ants. It s rare, but not as much as wereboars (11 seen...)

Now that I think of it, Rowdys are among the, if not the, most common monsters who disappear from the face of the game when you're quested for them. Might be useful information for a coder who wants to trace this mysterious bug (or feature?).

Nah, they're rare but not buggy. There are far more Warrior lairs on 2, so they're easier to find there. If you're patient enough, they'll show up in a few rooms on 1 as well.
