actually I just formated my PC... so no characters for me... I will start again from the beggining the hardcore type mordor.

As far as I can remember my characters where:
warrior 311 and 290
nomad 190 and 190
healer 239
seeker 290
thief 301

I have about 2 months to play mordor so those lvles are not really accurate. I will start again in some days... I think tongue.gif

The only levels worth mentioning are those I obtained by playing the Mordor demo, my character was called Isaac and he was a good human, with level 60 in every guild (now I know how silly was what I did) and 70 in Nomad and Warrior.

My brother had a Giant called Terminator who was level 78 Seeker and 126 Warrior.

Those characters were lost when the Hard Disk was formatted and now that I have the full version of Mordor I brought them back to life with an editor, and they are currently in those levels:

Isaac (now called Soulice):
Scavenger 131
Mage 119
Wizard 111
Warrior 80
Ninja 80

Terminator:
Seeker 78
Warrior 150
Nomad 55

I played so long in the demo to bring my character to those levels... lvl 3 was a complete cakewalk (and we had a load of different lvl 4 monsters in the confinement, all of them obtained from Stud Squares... I even recall we found an Steel Sword, which I promptly started using with Isaac (my brother bought the Sword of the Winds for his giant)).

I'm trying to figure out an empirical formula of the average dungeon level players visit, as a function of number of characters and their levels. Do you mind telling me what dungeon levels you guys currently roam?

@Nodoka: Death2? Does that mean that Death1 is dead? tongue.gif

Yeah. Death was my first character starting Mordor again and he suffered complications at the age of 21 (he was a giant). ranting.gif

How far I go into the dungeon? I usually venture down to the graveyard (13), sometimes level 14 if I feel daring. Of course I usually kill the monsters via heavy spells, I can't really survive that deep very long (no healer).

@aardless - don't know if it will help you, but my current party of four started clearing 15 when they were all level 200 (at least) in 2 guilds....appr 217 hours of gameplay, they probably COULD have started even earlier, but I hate dying, plus it took me that long to find

My party of three with guild levels reaching their 100's is currently mostly down on level 7 and 8, but I'm exploring 9 too now. It's getting a bit tough now though, and it's my 'first' mordor run so I get to see a lot of shiny new things and monsters.

My party as listed above has no problems with 12, can't really clear 13 but can stay down there for a while, and just gets beaten up on 14 and 15...

That's the first maximum-level character in Mordor 1.1 I've ever heard about. Although... why not 999?

Oh... and do you play him solo? I've long theorized that one can finish the game using nothing more than a solo Nomad. How many times have you defeated the Big Guy?

Yeah, "impressive" doesn't begin to describe it. shocked.gif Do you remember what level your character was when you first went to level 15?

OMG ok I am quiting hardcore-type mordor and starting to play again the "normal" one... I got bored of dying due to stupid reasons like falling into pits because some1 is calling me on the phone and I am destructed for 1 sec. It's too difficult when you have to start from the beggining the character that dies.

Plus, I don't like giving them the same names so I have to come up with a new one each time... well... I think I've already spent all the s**tloads of my imagination.

I am starting again... and this time death can't beat me tongue.gif

i've seen them once or twice...

oh, i'm new to the forums so what "hammer" are you referring to? the Hammer of O'Landra? yeah, i found one on lvl 15 from an invisible monster(my sight amulet got slimed and i did't have any potions) while lost. i sold it cuz i don't want to part w/ my V. Blade. (i know, it's not all that good, but i'm a die hard "Jabberwocky" fan. poem and movie. plus, a lvl 997 giant does'nt need much help to get all 7 swings in on Asmo and his pals. cool.gif

i havent been going low in a few weeks. just picking off the noob monsters on lvl 8-10. sometimes, if i forget my resists, or run into a mage lord, i die too. so, it takes a few hours on the upper lvls, and once, during a lvl 3-6 cleanout day, i didn't levelup at all.

Check your Library. Mine reports 137 sightings (and 11 deaths). Oh, and how many Dragon's Bloods and Blessings of Morash have you found?

Yours is the first Level 999 Mordor character I've ever heard of. I think some Demise players reached 999 (mostly Warriors). You'll beat my Thief 901 to it by a few months. ranting.gif

I tried a solo pure Nomad once, I gave up around Level 250 when I lost my Pure Mithril to a slime trap. crybaby.gif Lack of thieving ability and lack of resistance spells were the two big drawbacks. I never ventured below Level 12.

How do you handle resistances? Do you have a Sorceror or Healer at the door to town?

What age are you? How many times have you died?

Oh, and how many items/monsters in your Library?
